I do them in my neighborhood... Gotten many weird looks from neighbors who think riding bikes is weird enough. 40 standing starts... yeah.

Glad they worked out well. That's some super high end stuff there. :)

(I'd have gone for SLX myself. But I'm cheap.)

Feedback after a few rides:
Love these front XTR brakes, the modulation is so precise I can literally stop via front only, and do a controlled rear slight lift up ....
For now, I'll keep my rears at MT400 level ... yea ... 2-finger for rear and 1-finger for front.

Do this process instead, ASAP, before you ever come to a full stop: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iUV2Eo9ERSk

(Full stops, especially from speed, on non-bedded in brakes, lead to asymmetric pad material deposits and squeaking.)

bedding in brakes is voodoo poppy *beep*. Just go ride. the brakes will be fine.

Seriously my front are 1-finger precise modulation, the rears ... while they do stop I’m 2-finger Pete and not as precise.
Was gonna just live with it, then decided to just upgrade.

Two finger braking means less control of your bike. Welcome to the new world. :D
