Parts Scam

I was refereed by someone here on this site to this email address [samj3748@gmail.com] to find bike parts. "He" replied right away and we agreed on terms. He wanted me to send money through the CASH app or Venmo. There's no security measures with those so he finally agreed to accept the money through paypal. The money was sent and received, he admitted he got the money but because his paypal account was suspended so there would be a delay. Here it is a year later and he still won't send me the parts unless I send him more money. Has anyone else been swindled by this guy?

Do you have recourse via PayPal? Or was it sent as Friends and Family?

This is a pretty common scam. Someone on a board who is not really here for The boards purpose sends the note like you got. I read this a bit on car forums.
