2017 Trek Farley 9.6 XD driver alternative?

Postby chris_werth » October 2nd, 2018, 6:16 am

Would like to know if the rear hub freehub is replaceable with a Shimano type. I would like to entertain the thought of making the Farley a Single Speed in the future. I do see problem solver makes a kit to do this, but you need to run a fixie cog. I would like to use the Chris King cogs. If there is a way to replace it, would anyone have a part number for the free hub.

It's not a fixie cog (track thread) but more a six bolt. Curious, but why prefer the CK cog over that? It's just a steel cog, and overall it shouldn't matter.
