Hines Trail Day May 18th (Sun) 10am

So the last trail day we had a hrd working crew that helped open up about 1/4 mile of this new trail system. This was also the toughest part and the next section should prove to be easier as we head through mostly tall hardwood forest with very little ground cover. This is the first official trail for MCMAB and WCP and is being done with care for and lots of planning. I have personally walked and tweaked segments 4-6 times already. Trying to navigate the best way around the low areas, keep it fun, sustainable and environmentally responsible. The master plan is to create a linear 2 way trail system that will incorporate skills or tech loops along the way. The tech sections will be one direction however.

This Sunday May 18th - 10am we will be clearing trail and cutting bench to make a fun flowy trail along the bluffs at River View. We are looking for volunteers and trail crew leaders to help us accomplish this first segment. Once we have segment 1 complete we will start flagging and building section 2 at Newburgh lake.
