Hey all, my wife lost her drivers license, probably on the trail, Saturday afternoon, 6/8. If anyone happens to come across it, please shoot me a PM

Thanks!

Rode around 230. Couple greasy spots but no standing water.

New additions to this trail are great. Fast and grippy last evening, and such an underrated trail.

Fast and grippy yesterday. Love the new section and added skills section feature. One puddle that I remember.

Trail was great this morning. A shame that I had it all to myself.

FYI - It appears that the Consumers Energy pipeline replacement project that is going to close and likely disrupt a good portion of this trail in Summer 2020?

https://www.spinalcolumnonline.com/arti ... n-milford/

Much of the western half of the trail goes through the pipeline corridor that is going to be torn-up this summer for the replacement project running through this part of the county.

Its also going to impact the paved Milford trail and Kensington connector at various times too.

Trail was solid today (3-18) at 1600. Judging by the signage out there, the pipeline project is going to be a major drag.

I'm hoping they bore under rather than digging a trench, if so, there might not be to much damage to the trail.

Don't worry. It's all downhill from here.

The section of trail on the western side of the property, along the existing pipeline corridor that has been well-overgrown is going to be ripped-up.
They have already placed all the survey markers, and the construction corridor is the easement between the blue & white flags.
All the section of trail between the Milford Trail (paved trail) and the fence line with Camp Dearborn is going to be impacted.
This includes the free-ride area.
I think most of the powerline section out along Commerce Road is safe if we are thinking of the same area.
The section most impacted are going to be the long switchbacks in the semi-cleared areas near the Camp Dearborn property line.
They are going to tear-up this section, and directional bore under the Huron River.

They have already done all the brush cutting and tree removal on the the south side of GM Road down through Kensington.
They haven't clear-cut the Milford trail section.....yet.

Flags and markers are up. Better get out there NOW before it’s gone.

The destruction has begun about 2 miles in. From that point if you know where the trail is you can figure it out but the trail is really torn up. Very sad to say the least and from what it looks like they are going to destroy the area

I rode this morning at 7am. They've really torn it up--very sad. You can still find your way through most of the loop, but it's a mess.
From the comments above, does this mean that the trail will ultimately be destroyed on the west side?
