6ish inch tree down between start of B and the cutoff. There is a fairly large tree down halfway through D. Its a messy one because the canopy landed on the trail. Other than a few greasy spots all are good to go and super fun as usual.

Highland will be one of the trails used this coming weekend for the Milford Bike Fest and Trail Challenge event. This is not a race, but a fun family-friendly event. Come on out and enjoy this great trail!

Rode ABCD. Tree down on D loop, near when you first ride along the road just as one of the cool downhills are starting. Needs a saw for sure. The rest was great. Fav trail!

The mileage for the full Highland segments on Strava were so wrong that it caused me pain to look at(13-14 miles, uhm wtf), so I made a new one that's accurate using a wheel sensor. 17 miles from the first sign at the start of A, and back to that sign at the end. The trail is ever so slightly longer now too with the recent reroute on B. Please don't flag the new segment haha, thanks

Highland ABCD was absolutely money and dry on 11/26 before the rain. I'm sure it won't be too bad in a couple days either. Get out there and ride the most backcountry-ish, fun trail around!

Rode D today:
A few trees accross the trail just before the 1/2 way point before turning back towards the trailhead.
Near post 13D. My first ride here in almost 18 years.
Thanks to all that have taken care of my baby.

Fun fact: I placed the start of D loop at the bottom of a hill on A loop on purpose. I wanted riders to fly by it. The D loop would then become the least used of all them. 24 years later it still has a fresh unused feel. PERFECT.

Kudos to the trail master himself checking in, thx Bob for seeing the trail and the natural flow in the woods before they were cut.

Got a chance to ride A , B & C on Saturday. The trail and day were absolutely PERFECT.

A couple of days before I rode D loop on my 25 year old Trek Y Frame. The same bike i laid it it out with. My son , Dan, made me ride one of newer Giants on Saturday. No comparison. It was like riding on a paved bike path compared to my old bike. That a time to be biking..

Thanks to T. Brown for cutting the D loop trees.
He is the man...

Thanks Bob
