Rode on 3/24. Trail is dry and in good shape. Large tree down about 1.5 miles in.

Hickory Glen and Ostrich Corndog are PR central right now. Amazing dirt, and you can see really far ahead. Go shred.

Trail is a real mess. Storms dropped tens of big trees. There has been some cleanup already but a coordinated effort to move some of this big stuff is necessary.

I picked up what I could but riding is futile.

Trail is effectively closed right now. It is in real bad shape. Any assistance with BIG saws and experience is welcome. Took me 2.5 hours to clear the short curve by the party store/ exit to road to ride separate section. Image

that's accurate. I've been out clearing and after every giant mess like that i cleared was met with another just down the trail from it. There is an organized trail day this Saturday at 10a if anyone can come help.
Don't worry. It's all downhill from here.

Trail is back open. Everyone should go and ride this trail to see the heavy damage and the need to bed the trail back in. A few areas are closed but still is approximately 5 miles ride.

I cleared a couple of trees in areas 6 and 9. There's a monster in section 14.

Is there going to be another trail day to work on the section after the football field?

Trail is in excellent shape as long as the ground is frozen. Gonna get warm for a few days so ride early and don't ride when the snow or ground are real soft. It is sticky when frozen, slippy when soft....
