Other than some frozen footprints and chatter on the western edge of the property, the trail is perfect for riding in frozen conditions.

Let's hope for some snow!

The Campus Loop is pretty good. Lake Loop has some frozen footprints, ice, and frost heave, but it's in decent shape--better than Holdridge West, but not by much.

Please avoid. The clay is really soft and still running with water. The Wilderness Trail at Holly Rec. wasn't ready either. Gravel roads are loose but dry and ready.

This trail is not ready. Trail crew spent eight hours repairing dirt bike and other tread damage only to have someone pizza cut the heck out of it an hour later. You can call me the trail police, but I built the trail and care about its condition. After this wet spring (look at any area river or creek) the clay is still saturated

Thanks for avoiding it for now.

We've had some dirt bike and mtb ruts, but the trail is pretty much ready to go. If we get much rain today/tonight, it will need some time to re-harden.

Please avoid for a day or two; there has been enough rain in the Holly area to saturate the clay again.

Which way is the correct way to ride the trail system? Clockwise or Counter Clockwise?
To "come back" would mean I've been somewhere.....not sure if I qualify. W.S 2013

I usually do a couple of laps in each direction.

The trail is trimmed and clean. Chris, I've been out of state and missed your post, but I agree with the suggestion to mix up directions.

We did order a couple of tons of limestone to armor some sections; at some point, we'll organize a CRAMBA trail day for that, some work on turns, and some tech features.

The (1.5 mile) Lake Loop has been stomped in with snowshoes and should have 50-90 walkers on it today. I'll check it out this afternoon, but I think it's going to be ready for fat biking tonight and this weekend.

Just under 2 miles of trail grooved in with my 3.8s after some good foot and snowshoe traffic. There are still some tricky sections, but most of it is rideable. Park at the Kiosk. Drop down to the Lake Loop, and do it counterclockwise a few times.

Like the Seven Lakes and Wilderness trails, all (3.1 miles) of this trail is in good shape. The hill by the kiosk has some ice, but that's about it. The rest is frozen dirt or snow. We should have excellent winter conditions in the next several days.
