Loops 3 and 4 and the connector are all clear and ridable. Some nasty faceslappers (arm scrachers w/ blood) on the connector.

Someone trimmed a few of the L1 thorns west of the powerline, which also saw the mower on one side.

thanks

Two days in a row that Proud Lake was fantastic in the snow. Today was my best snow ride yet with the 2-3 inches of new snow. Minimal hiker damage on loop 1.

Loop 2 was a little beat up on the two way portions, but mainly untouched other than that.

I think this trail is becoming home base for me during the snow months. So much better without the horses out there destroying everything.

Just curious - did you do all 4 loops? Or just 1 and 2?

Rode (I guess you could call it that) loop 3 backwards today. Couldn’t seem to get drive traction despite various pressure attempts.

Snow angeled pretty good on the tricky climb near the end. It was a rough one. Didn’t try 4, but I think Builder Bill hit it with some others. Should be good riding on everything but 3 until it warms up.

Bill posted on FB that Loops 1 and $ are good. Has anyone tried the connector?

I rode 2 the other day, and it was also good.

Couple of trees down at the end of the trail right before it dumps onto Glengary. Will need chain saw.

The new campground bypass is actually getting ridable. I rode w/ a group of 10 in both directions on Tuesday and a group of 6 on Wed in both directions. It's improved a lot. Go ride it. Very little flat areas, its either up or down.

There’s a new bypass? Where at?

It is parallel to the campground - specifically designed to keep mountain bikers OUT of the campground. If you ride the normal 4 loops you will not find it. However, if you ride the through the doubletrack on the east side of Wixom Rd - going towards or returning from Hickory Glen - you will find it.

Hit loops 2 and 4 after the Milford parade today. Mostly dry and loose with two big mud holes on 4 after the Child’s Lake Rd crossing.
