Shout out to the team that cleaned up the trail. All the face slappers have been cut down along with some major trail trimming. Thanks!

I routinely stop at that exact spot on my 2nd-3rd lap to take a quick dip :D

I'm guessing perfect other than likely pizza cutters. Hitting tree farm myself right now. Will report after.

Last night around 6:30pm I rode the trail from the dam to the trailhead. It was generally good, but was still soft/leafy/damp in some areas. I had a few pucker moments due to sliding. There is a conditions update on the Facebook SE Mich Trail conditions page (from the Trail Coordinator) yesterday saying that it is very rutted and still soft, and he asks for Fat Bikes only to ride the trail to flatten in back out. I didn't see the ruts in the section I rode, but they are probably really bad in the exposed gas line right-of-way sections.

Tried it today on the fatbike around 1130. Little too greasy for my conscience, so I bailed out. Managed to roll down a couple ruts left by someone on a skinny.
