Also - watch out for the attack sparrow down by the lake. Actually hit my helmet on 2 separate occasions now!

Did two laps last night. Got one guy in front of me on the 1st lap and then a different guy behind on the next. Pretty aggressive.

No bird attack on Sat morning for me as well. Maybe the chicks hatched.

Great shape today after the recent rains. Nice and tacky with no residue on the bike. Only one small soft spot that's easily cleared with a small hop.

Trail was rock solid today. Use care on the roots and rocks, I took a low speed tumble on a rock and root combo that I spun out on. Leaves were not an issue. Started to snow heavy half way through my ride, but no accumulation.

Did a lap at Milford after the rain ended tonight and it was fine. Wet, but firm and leafy. Was a fun ride. No ruts.

Managed to cut some fresh tracks in this evening after work. Between the extra winter weight, the Bud/Lou rolling resistance, and packing down 3 or 4 inches of fresh powder; I was smoked.

Super fun hearing the squeak of the powder under those tires, but what a slog. Had to bug out early.
