I've never known Island Lake to not be ok to ride the day after a mid-summer rain, no matter how much rain we got.

Has anyone ridden ILRA today after the rain? I don't want to contribute to trail damage if it's slushy, but it has been so dry this summer, I feel like it would be fine.

There may be some standing water here and there, but you're not likely to do any damage at ILRA riding the day after a rain.

Can anybody who lives in the area give me an idea of how much rain you guys got out there? Looking to do a bit of riding tomorrow.

I rode Blue and yellow before it rained and some of trail was slightly damp but not muddy nor slippery. A very enjoyable ride.

Tree down around the 7 mile marker on Blue..chainsaw size. it can be walked over...other then that the trail was ok, a little water, mud, and plenty of sand.. leaves are cover a lot of the trail too.
Don't forget to tighten the loose nut between the handlebars, and the seat.
