Rode Monday afternoon, newer trails softer than the others, but are very rideable. Thanks again, Dan and Tony. Side note, be careful at the trailhead, you could literally ice skate on it.

Hoping for a ride there tomorrow morning. Seems your trail handles water better than most. Either that or go golfing.

I rode here for the first time today. Seemed to be in great shape; a few muddy spots but nothing that's worth avoiding the trail for. Just a couple spots that could be greasy. Trail seemed to be in great shape with no obstructions: it was clear a lot of work had been done after the storms.

I really enjoyed the ride. I ended up doing red a couple of times (2x + a Yellow/Red when I lost the route for yellow), green once, and blue once after meeting someone who showed me around. Just before leaving I rode 1-3-TH a few times, as that section in particular is a blast. I think I preferred red, although I probably would take a liking to green if I rode it more. It felt just felt like old school up/down eroded hill stuff to me in many parts, so I skipped it later on.

Granny's Garden got me, as there were two climbs I couldn't make. They look like things that would take just a bit more practice...

Really, really fun trail. I wish it was closer to where I live.

cOnsumer, the Green is a lot more fun if you're familiar with it. It does have it's share of washed out, loose gravel sections but it's still a very fun loop. I would guess that the last two stone climbs in Grannies got you.

There is a signage replacement process that's taking place at the moment. That may explain you losing the Yellow. Hopefully that will be completed in the near future.

PM me if you come into town again, I'll get a few people from the chapter together and we can give you a guided tour if you like. Glad you enjoyed yourself.

AllMountin', to answer your turtle question. I've only ever seen that color scheme on the turtles out there. On painters anyway. I did come across a huge snapper in the middle of the trail last year. I gave him a lot of space and rode on.

Does anyone have a report on how bad it rained over there last night? If you have a trail report this afternoon that would be even better!

I want to make a trip out there tomorrow while I have the day off, but I want to make sure that the 2.5 hour drive would be worth it.

Thanks!

Anyone know the conditions of FC? Have they started grooming? Laid down first snow tracks last year and it was pretty hard going, was hoping somebody had broke it in a little.

Rode the Fort on Sat (1/7/17). No grooming....just ridden in by fat bikes. Great conditions. Tree down in the Crazy Beaver, otherwise good to go.

How's it looking over there? Did you get our rain/warm weather or is there still snow? I'm really trying to figure out a ride for this coming weekend on the fatbike...
