Avoid Poto at all costs right now. So many hikers and dogs on no leashes....completely makes the trail unenjoyable. Guess I'll be sticking to Highland and Gruber's for the time being, haha

Rode Poto Saturday 4/18.

So. Many. Hikers. About halfway thru, I was thinking I should have started counting from the beginning. In a 1 mile section after the Blind Lake camping area I counted 29 hikers. From the bottom of the big climb near the end, to the bench at the top, 25 hikers! And from the bench, to the end, 30 hikers.

Other than that, the couple of normal mushy spots, but overall the trail was in pretty good shape.

Rode in the early am and trail was excellent. Lots of hikers and a few runners.

Saturday 5/16, 10:00 am

Trail was in good condition.

I only encountered 128 hikers in the time I was out there. :)
