I rode trail early Monday afternoon and there were a few muddy slippery spots but overall it was in good shape. Tree down at around 7 mile mark.

New bridge is very impressive. Would like to contribute to have a named slat. Is it too late?

Uhh if the bridge is done, then they're not going to be adding new named boards! But yes, too late now :D

Thanks, tree cleared.

Yes it's too late for planks on the 754 bridge but there will be other bridges (like the one at the start of the crater loop) so keep an ear out for next time.

Last night, it was borderline. We started out on singletrack, but abandoned that after a mile - too soft under the leaves.

I'm sure this morning it's frozen solid and fine.

It's not a matter of draining anymore - we're in freeze-thaw so it'll be good anytime it's been below 32 for a few hours, and not so much otherwise.

Right now? It's probably too soft. But it's cold tonight, below freezing all day tomorrow, and should be perfect for the Tuesday night ride.

There are several trees down. Most are smallish (can use a handsaw to clear/remove) but one will need a chainsaw. Otherwise there was no significant snow tonight and the ground was mostly frozen and crunchy, but in some low spots there were skinny ruts into the mostly frozen mud. I smashed most with fat tires tonight, and cleared some deadfall and one tree right after the 12 1/2 mile entrance, but the other trees remain.
