Ugh. Tweaked my back two days ago. Looks like good snow to ride. Getting old sucks.

Trail is good to go for fat bikes - good work out - including the new loop.
Balance beam riding / could use a little more traffic.

Flurries most of the day - singletrack was little bit icy and some crunchy snow, slightly rutted - frozen fat bike ruts ( ) - couple/few tire tracks in a one inch dusting. Currently snowing again

I have been MIA for 3 years from Mt. biking. I'm back! Did a lap at Hick today. It was packed. Trail was in imaculate condition. Thanks to those who spend countless hours maintaining this trail.

There were five times as many cars, most with bike racks, than I have EVER seen there.

Today the trail was the same as yesterday and 5 cars in the lot. Hope the rain is light.

Did some cleanup from the wind this morning. Someone got to the tree near the start before I did, thanks! I walked sections 1-8 and removed all small branches, large branches and trees. Then skipped to the last part of the trail, think I started at 24 and went to the end.

Trail was great yesterday. Added loop is great fun but could use one added directional at 1st left turn once on/in the trail.
Besides that everything was great.
Wake up happy.

We need chain saws at about 10 spots on the trail. I can help Tuesday but need to sharpen my chain.

Miles are approximate from trail head start and do NOT include the new section ostrich corn dog.

2.1.
2.4.
2.6 big mess
4.4 big mess
4.8 just before cinderclimb and After.
5.0
5.1.
5.5.
6.0. Just before end.

Let me know if need help needed - I can take my smaller saw out and assist.

Steve

Got everything but the first 3.

Create a ride around to the left on the big mess.

Clear from bridge before glengary to the finish.

Get out and ride.

The trail is in great non muddy shape to ride. However, there is a big tree down about .3 or so in. It will need a big chain saw. My petite won’t do.
