I checked out the singletrack cut in last November up to the bridge and it seems to have dealt with the Winter rather well.
No hippos, but lots of ducks & geese.

I tried doing a home -> River Bends -> Utica -> Clinton River Trail route one night earlier in the week, but ran into the mud and sand and water on the path and had to turn around. I can't wait for this to clear out, as it makes for a nice local loop with a mixture of park and pavement riding.

The bridge we put in last fall has 6-8 boards busted and needing replacement. This was not the case on 3/27. The bridge is still kinda rideable on the east half. Otherwise the trail is drying up somewhat, though it gets *really* wet in the low areas.
