Not bad at all. Still some icy spots here and there, but overall grip was not an issue without studs.

Excellent conditions! Minimal snow base still holding up well.if you ride the complete MTB trail watch for glare ice at the bottom of "steep grade loose gravel ".

About 80% clear ice today around 9:00AM.
Studs would have been nice.

Walked all of RB yesterday, clearing sticks, small fallen trees, and minor brush, as well as smashing down the douchebag ruts.

Riding the sidewalk yesterday I stopped seeing 2 men coming up on the Danger loose gravel crossover. Waving them down and telling them "It's to muddy so ride the trails right now" To which I got the "We will ride around the muddy spots" AAAAAUUUUGGGGG!
And as you could guess I've never seen these guys on a trail day.

Jreyst...thks for the trail work. While trying to repair trail damage in the past, i did speak with some regular trail users there who " like riding in the mud".....no kidding, that's what they told me....they like the challenge. As stated before it's open public land and we can politely educate and inform them with "ride dirt trails not mud trails" postings etc.i don't like mud! I'll be on the rollers or pvmt until i see a CRAMBA posting regarding freeze- up or moldable conditions giving the OK to ride on my 4.5's and even out some ruts.

We rode RB and CRPT this morning just after sun-up.
It was frozen solid.
It would have been a challenge to ride skinny as it was heavily rutted for about 90% of the trail. (Rolling fat over the ruts was fine)
The BTT section of RB was solid ice, but all other sections were just frozen mud.
It was just starting to soften up in the sunny areas around 10AM when we left.

I rolled through at about 3pm and there were folks heading out on the single track. Which looked... awful. Like soup. :\

Not Too bad.
I took it easy today and completed the whole trail with just one dab. (No studs...3.8 Nates)
There's some ice just about everywhere but there is plenty of traction as well.
Be careful, but enjoy.
There's over 30 demo bikes out there right now.

Excellent conditions now after the weekend snowfall and more on the
way. I rode earlier today and it was fantastic. the ridge just past #23
was nicely packed down from extensive squirrel traffic; the deer herd
was active on the BTT so i slowly rode the edges on both laps to pack
down the hoof prints and some boot traffic.i have no snowshoes yet so
i went back and forth a few times on the south "blue" next to the paved
MUT where it gets plowed over to make it rideable.get out and ride!!

How are trails today (2/10)?
Have they been groomed from recent snow?

It'd received two passes from the snowmobile, but it seems like it needs a bit more. We got a LOT of snow in the past 24 hours. :\

It's crunchy, grippy, and ready for more riding to pack it down.the omnipresent hiker tracks and plus
tire carvings and slideouts were greatly minimized due to the fantastic grooming job done by those gallant snowshoers! the switchbacks from #2 to #6 especially cool, my Gnarwhals @ 2.5 psi had plenty of grip but my leg power didn't match the available traction so i walked "off trail" on a couple of the hills to keep a clean "line" for others behind me.a group ride effort to widen the "line " from 1 or 2 fat to 3 or 4 fat wide and it will be pristine! Intrepid evening riders should love it! One more thing....it seems like the "green" section could use a pass from the snowmobile/ groomer.
