Ahh ... maybe that is where my mystery flat came from ... rode 2 laps, then she was sitting on the rim 2 days later in the garage.

ah well then I feel much better about myself now. After my sphincter relaxed from having to slam on the brakes and fred flinstone myself to safety I scratched my head for a good 15 minutes wondering how on earth someone navigated that while remaining dry and able to reproduce. Perhaps a big "Wrong Way" or "Do Not Enter" sign is merited? based on the flow preceeding, it seemed like a logical path to me. Then again maybe normal sane people don't need to be warned its not a mtb trail

I was really impressed how much trail was able to be crammed into that small footprint. Truly amazing use of terrain. Looks like that place would lend itself perfectly to more raised platforms and skills creation muhahahah

There'll be a sign at the left-turn just before that which is where the regular trail route goes. This section just isn't done yet and we haven't had a chance to install the signage.

Rode late evening, trail had quite a few wet spots after Nessie. Large tree down on the drag strip. Definitely requires a saw.

There's water & mud on the yellow, blue & red good, dusty powder gone for now,
tree down just past #13, one cut with hand saw may be enough.

MiSCA will be holding a race on the trails Sep 29th. I would expect that a lot of scholastic MTB teams will be visiting the trail in preparation for the race. Please be courteous if passing or being passed.

FYI there is a MiSCA race at the park on Sunday, the 29th. The trails will not be officially closed during the race but a lot of sections will be marked off, approximately from 9:00 to 2:00. Over 350 students have signed up so far, come out and cheer them on. I expect there will be a lot of teams preriding on Saturday as well.

Caution: i added more soil to the dirt jump feature at #3, i don't think it's too
extreme, i'll rake it down if it's not acceptable.

Thanks Rob! Is it still a smooth rollable hump that can also be jumped? We just want to be sure it's good for people roll at speed -or- jump.

I did not ride it, it's packed pretty good and i can tweak it with a rake if necessary.

Regarding the feedback on FB: if it's so dangerous you could have offered suggestions, or help me to make it better, one rider said it was perfect, 2 young
ladies rode it, one of whom got 2 feet of air and loved it.i do my best but if it's
not right i'll fix it.some said " i rode it 100 times and didn't expect it!).i'll tell you
what i was told. over 30 years ago: HEADS UP! it' mountainbiking!

I rode that feature today it was completely fine. if you come at it with speed to get a little bit of air but you can still roll it if you want to.

I Googled Riverbends park events and they show Sat. Oct. 19th as Community Shred Day, 9AM to 1PM, and Sat. Oct. 26th as Electronics Recycling, 9AM to 2PM, i don't know how busy they'll be but in April they had recycling and 22 mile was backed up for a long stretch in both directions, parking should be available at the big lot in Utica next to the MUP and you can ride up and enter the trail at #22. (OPPS, i forgot to check the J.J. events!)
