Yeah, as someone who has reviewed the park from his computer using google maps, I'm sure you DO know the area better then those of use who have been out to the park and actually walking the proposed area. :roll:

Perhaps this may be hard for you to believe, but we DO know what we are talking about, and we are putting together a plan with consideration for the lay of the land, the existing features in the park, and the wishes of the park management.


Let me help you out dirt

Plus what I was pointing out was a possibility of what could fit in that area.(plus the a little outside of the marked area in the proposal)IE what would be the most single track that could fit in that side of the park regardless of what is there now.


I do know what is out in that area of park dirt

On your map you've got single track going back and forth across a drainage ditch.

It's one thing to imagine a park taken over by mountain bike trails and it's another to do what we are in the process of: working with the park to build sustainable off-road single-track multi-use trails.

Anything more would be both overstepping our bounds and irresponsible use of areas whose primary use has already been established.

...and then there will be no parks because then they won't appeal to the public as a whole and their varied interests and uses, which is what's needed to keep parks funded and supported.
