Yeah I wish all trails had a well pump for refilling camelbaks on successive laps on really hot days.

At Island Lake if I plan to be away from my bike it's only when I'm taking a 5 minute cool down dip in Spring Mill Pond and I always just lay my bike down with my shirt and shoes right on the beach and stay close to it in case I need to chase someone. I'm never really more than 50 feet from it generally.

I'd NEVER lock my bike up to a rack for the same reasons others have stated. The bike is too expensive to trust to a chain and lock. I'd never do it.
