Echo Valley Trails (near Glen Arbor)?

Postby DFray » December 7th, 2018, 2:09 pm

It's been a while since I heard anything about these trails. A few years ago there was some buzz and some fundraising.

Does anyone know the status? I couldn't find anything recent....

I hit up NMMBA and Bike Leelanau about Echo this summer and was told that progress is very slow, plans are under review, a study has to be conducted etc etc.

So don’t expect groundbreaking anytime soon.

On the other hand, Leelanau Conservancy’s Palmer Woods mtb trail opened the first phase this fall, and winter grooming for fat biking is again planned for Leelanau State Park.
