Time to prep for XC ski!

Postby JeffOYB » October 1st, 2018, 10:45 am

Yeah yeah snowbike...

But don't forget the other major way to have fun in the snow: SKIING!

Technically, bikers should be cross-training a wider range of motion. Helps avoid injury.

Also skiing is cool coz it's basically no moving parts. And it works better in soft snow. ...Quite often snow conditions aren't good for snowbikes. Gotta be ready for anything!

Speaking of being ready... Skiers are made in the summer. If you want to ski this winter, get ready now so you can do it. Otherwise it'll waste you. Get ready by going on some pole-hikes, by hill-bounding w poles, by pulling on inner-tubes hanging from a tree branch, doing dips. Then you'll be awesome!

I like XC skiing. I have XC skis. I'm luck to use them twice a year in SE Michigan.
