RACE #1: AUG 25 – Addison Oaks County Park, Leonard, MI
Addison Oaks returns as our 2019 season opener! Accommodating park personnel, meticulously maintained flowy and fun trails, and great facilities make this trail system an ideal place to kick things off. This favorite venue is a gem and we are glad to be back! Camping available at the park, call to reserve. Trail maintained by Clinton River Area Mountain Biking Association. RACE #2: SEP 8 – Fort Custer State Recreation Area, Augusta, MI
MiSCA is happy to return to Fort Custer in 2019! The trails at Fort Custer are unique and fun for all abilities. The area was originally farmland until the government began using it as an army training center during WWII. Some sections of trail traverse interesting historical features that are still visible today. There is plenty of room for staging and spectating. Modern restrooms and changing rooms are on-site. This trail changes directions dependent on the day of the week. The Saturday direction will be different from the direction on race day. Staging area will be in the Eagle Lake day use area, so plan for a post-ride swim if the temperatures allow! Camping is available within the state park, call or go online to reserve. Trail maintained by Southwest Michigan Mountain Biking Association.

RACE #3: SEP 15 – Brighton State Recreation Area, Brighton, MI
The trails at Brighton will begin to introduce a few technical challenges to our riders. Be ready for a few climbs and some more roots! The trails still exhibit a fair amount of flow and will be a great chance for the riders to put their skills to the test. We will stage in the day use area by Bishop Lake which will be a great area for families to relax and play when they are not riding! Modern restrooms and pavilion space will be available. Camping is available within the state park, call or go online to reserve. Trail maintained by Potawatomi Mountain Biking Association.

RACE #4: SEP 29 – River Bends Park, Shelby Township, MI
A brand new venue to MiSCA, we are thrilled to partner with CRAMBA and Shelby Township to host our 4th race of the season at River Bends Park. The trails contain fast, flowing single track that snakes along a ridge ovesingletrack Clinton River and its oxbows, and takes a scenic detour along the towpath for the historic Clinton-Kalamazoo canal. The terrain is sure to please riders of all skill levels. The park will have playgrounds, modern restrooms, disc golf, and pavilion space available. To access the race start, please enter the park off the south side of 22 Mile Road between Shelby and Ryan roads in Shelby Township. Do not use the entrance off of Ryan and Hamlin; it does not connect by road to the main staging area. Nearby camping available at Addison Oaks, call to reserve. Trail maintained by Clinton River Area Mountain Biking Association.

RACE #5: OCT 6 – Merrell Trail, Belmont, MI
Another brand new venue for MiSCA, the Merrell Trail is one of the crown jewels of the Grand Rapids area. A machine-built trail that was built specifically with mountain bikers in mind, this trail flows and takes you for a fun ride, while still introducing some technical challenges in the form of roots and rocks. Merrell alternates direction depending on the day, so please plan your pre-rides accordingly. Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Friday follow red Arrows in a counter clockwise direction. Tuesday, Thursday and Saturdays follow yellow arrows in a clockwise direction. Parking and main staging area will be out of the Art Van Sports complex off of Ten Mile Rd in Rockford. Modern restrooms will be available. Special thanks to the WMMBA for their generous support for this race! Nearby camping available at Wabasis Lake Campground, reserve online. Trail maintained by West Michigan Mountain Biking Alliance.

RACE #6: OCT 13 – Bloomer Park, Rochester Hills, MI
Presented by Newton Timing, MiSCA returns to Bloomer Park for our State Championship race! Bloomer Park is home to Michigan’s only outdoor velodrome. Our most technical course of the series, this will be a true test for our state championship! Bloomer’s trails have a great mix of fast and flowy combined with technical features and tough climbs to keep riders on their toes. Modern restrooms, playgrounds, and pavilion space will be available. Nearby camping available at Addison Oaks, call to reserve. Trail maintained by Clinton River Area Mountain Biking Association.
