A2 loop today

Postby mojoman » November 15th, 2011, 1:23 pm

Anyone want to ride the Ann Arbor stuff today. I'm going to stay out of the deep woods today because of the hunters.

Is there any type of weekly ride in Ann Arbor? Is anyone interested? Also who maintains the trails around Ann Arbor, and do they need help in the next couple months as the season gets nearer?

I work on the trails as I ride them. a lot of the stuff I do is not an actual trail, and I am the only one who rides some of them. I am around during the day and always up for a last minuet ride.

do you mostly ride the "local loop" or some of the other goods?

I'm back to being free most mornings. a few of us who can work later into the evening ride mornings ~10 on tuesday/friday, and varying times saturday-sunday. We 've ridden all year and have a loop together with excellent drainage. If you are referring to trails that see very little traffic, I suspect we spend some time in the same places :) hit me up, we should be riding friday, on the a2 charter township options

Anyone have a link to a map of the A2 stuff? I know Olsen but can't figure out the rest of it. Gonna try to get up to Olsen around noon for a quick ride.

There's a map on the a2skiclub website, but it's not very detailed: http://www.a2skiclub.org/biking/locations.htm

Look in the trail guide section for the A2 loop. Rumor has it the info is on page 12.

[quote="Hench"]Michael summed it up beautifully, if your looking for a map there was a link posted on page 12 by pDubs that includes a variation of the local loop, it may not include every spot but its a good starting point to build up your own variation.
