Tree fort bikes and Wheels in Motion both do weekly local loop group rides. It's a good way to learn the main loop.

Do you know who to contact or where I can find the information on the Tree Fort or Wheels in Motion rides?

Stopping by TreeFort Friday; I'll see if I can find anything out.
BTW I think I've got most of the A2 loop figured out; just can't quite sort out how to get to Barton *beep* from rest of trail.
Also, check Wheels In Motion's site; I think they have some rides announced.

I also signed up on the info for the Wheels in Motion ride. Apparently the Poto chapter does a group ride at Poto every Thursday and at Brighton on the last Thursday of the month. The old email for the Tree Fort rides is Ride@treefortbikes.com but I don't know if it still works, I sent an email.

Anyone interested in riding tonight?

I made a map on bikely of my Ann Arbor Loop, this doesn't include the A2DH/Ridge Trail. On bikely it came out to 12 miles, but it was more like 13.5-14 miles from my GPS/bikecomputer. I'd love to know if there are good parts I am missing or can add to my ride. (other than the A2DH/Ridge, I want to make another with that included)

Looking for someone who really knows the A2 local loop to show me around the trails. I've hit the loop several times over the summer and feel like I've riden bits and pieces here and there. I just don't know the trail (never rode it with anyone who really does.) I just got back into Mountain Biking this year after a LONG time away. My Girl Friend cought the bug too. We ride together often, and she hangs like a champ! Sometimes better than my other buddy that I ride with! LOL..... Anyway, I (we) are looking for someone to show us the way once or twice. You're help is very much appreciated, *beep* we may even buy you a round or two after the ride for your guidance at any one of the brew-pubs around town.

I'd be glad to show you what I know. I not a super expert, but me and my buddy put together a ride of about 18 miles (including a bit of doubling back through A2 for beer.). Give me a pm and we'll set something up!
