Anyone have any details on the Tuesday night rides at the Flyin' Hoof Ranch in Walker? Are these social rides or is it a race series ride? Is this by invite only? What time, etc?

This is just right around the corner from me and last night is the first I have heard of it from a friend of mine. I'm guessing there is something out there on Facebook but I don't do Facebook so I am probably out of the loop. Any details about this would be greatly appreciated so I don't have to drive 30 minutes to ride a local GR trail since we really don't have anything nice on the west side of town like Luton or the ski area or the game area.

Thanks - Mike

I asked about it a while back and got no response either....this was an answer to a comment made on facebook by Flying Hoof Ranch.

"Flyin' Hoof Ranch: Dirk, It is a private course that we open up on Tuesday nights from 6:30pm till dusk through the first week in August. There is no cost. Just come try out the course and have fun. We are looking possibly running a race series the last three weeks in August. Stay tuned for more on that. If you have any other questions please let me know.:

" We will be hosting another open ride. We recently finished the course for the cycle cross races this fall and that is the course we will be riding tomorrow night. So be ready for few changes and "maybe" a couple more hills (no obstacles or dismounts yet). Mark your calenders for the following race dates: September 15 Mountain Bike Enduro Race. October 13 Cyclocross Race. November 10th Cyclocross Race. All the races will be benefit charities both locally and internationally. Watch for additional information to be posted on the Flyin' Hoof Ranch sight."

I rode this trail last night for the 1st time and did a couple of laps. The trail is ~1.5 miles long and is full of fast downhills and lung busting, lactic acid building, steep uphills. The owner said they are doing Tuesday night open riding nights @ 6:30pm thru September. This trail will make for a great addition (on Tuesday nights) to my local road/2track/trail ride in my neighborhood.

Here is a video of Nate Versluis riding a fatbike on the course:

Nice video. When he goes over that jump I saw the camera flash and what looked like a Jack Kunnen on the side of the trail so I went to his site and found the shot-
