It's been really moist lately. I suspect the trails will be really greasy.

I have a wait and see attitude. Unless we get a decent amount of snow by ~6PM, I'll probably stay home.

Not feeling like fighting the rush hour first snow idiots to ride in an inch or so of snow. But, if we get some decent accumulation, I'll make the trek.

I'm starting to think the same. Roads and such are really bad out here right now. It might be nicer to wait until the snow is done flying and is sitting on the ground.

I couldn't help but think just how nice it could be if would get plowed.....

PCT was an icy mess last night... Would not recommend it. The dirt roads were a little slimy, but not too bad. I figure that they'll be worse today, as its sunny...

CRT in downtown Rochester was more of the same. As viewed form a car but still. Looks like an inch of ice.

Looks like I will investigate the Metro Parkway path (likely starting east from Garfield). If it is as icy as mentioned, it will be a very short ride. :(

Anyone been out to Stony in the past few days? Just wondering what the trails are like?

I've hurt myself way worse on the road than I ever have on the trails... Nevermind, I stand corrected...

I'm going to assume that both the roads and the trails will be slushy messes today. Any objections?

Yes, I object to the roads and trails being in this condition.

Objection noted. Whitey's head up Nick's butt also noted.

i am getting preliminary reports that the MOT is crap too. :( There is someone doing some recon, so I will try to keep everyone apprised.

The preliminary reports were apparently accurate. MOT is NFG.

I'm considering starting from 25/Shelby and hitting the Bikini loop. Maybe I'll someone out there. :P

We're trying out the ILRA trails (w/studs) at 6:30 tonite.

Thanks, but that would have required some pre-planning. Enjoy! :)
