When I copy and paste the forum code and insert inbetween the [img][img] it displays a hyperlink to the photo and not just the image? Any help would be appreciated.

You're missing the / in the last img that makes it look like this: [/img]

?? Not sure what you're trying to do. Just insert the URL: http://img18.imageshack.us/img18/1997/0000014x.th.jpg between the img tags.

I'm going to change the brackets [] to <> so I can demonstrate without it actually showing the picture:

<img>http://img18.imageshack.us/img18/1997/0000014x.th.jpg</img>

So you get:

The reason his didn't work is that the forum software doesn't often like sets of tags together on the same line.. let me demonstrate.

The one works fine when a carriage return in put between the two sets of image tags... The 1st one didn't work because the URL has a trailing slash after the image name.

That is correct, but he had one that was correct and one that was incorrect, so I just gave him the correct one.

I'm getting "It was not possible to determine the dimensions of the image." when trying to post of photo from drop box?

That link returns a 403, so the server probably couldn't access it.
