Loops 1 and 4 are clear. The hike-bike Kensington-connector still suffers from horse traffic.

Loop 1 has been mowed and is in EXCELLENT shape! There's a big tree down in loop 3 after the H2O pump.

just rode the Kensington Proud Lake connector for the first time today (I have yet to ride the Proud Lake trail) .. quick question -- I turned around right after crossing Old Plank (didnt really want to ride state land during hunting season).. looking at the map it seems that I was basically on loop 4 at that point.. am I right or does the connector go further than Old Plank?

When you cross Old Plank Rd. You will end up on a short Connector that takes you to Loop 4. (Turn right on at the Tee )

Parade Ride In DownTown Milford..
Hey everyone - help support the MMBA at this event.
Milford is having their Christmas Parade, this Saturday, November 28th. We have been invited to ride in the parade by the DNR and friends of Proud Lake to support the park. We did this last year, it was a good turn out and a great time.

You can deck out your bike, yourself or just come in normal gear, and if desired, bring a water bottle filled with your warming hot chocolate..

Line up time: 9:15 a.m.
Lne up number: 37
Location: Detroit Street between Hickory and Union Street (one block northeast of Commerce and Main St.)

Ride is over at noon, afterwards ride the Milford trail - It's just 3 blocks away.

Hope to see everyone.
See ya,
Bill and Sam the trail dog

Just finished riding Proud Lake Loop 2 and part of Loop 4. The trail is in great shape and a lot of fun with 2 inches of fresh snow.

After Highland I went here, very mixed conditions. The ride out past the tracks is packed down pretty well, the snow is rather frozen but not slick. I think it was loop 4 I rode, somewhat similar to Highland, mostly hiker and ski traffic, the bumpy frozen snow makes hill climbing tough. Some of the downhills I found sections that were untouched, making for a slow motion descent. Overall conditions are not very bike friendly.

Did the Commerce to Milford ride yesterday.
Rode first half of loop 1, all of loop 2 and the first half of loop 4 up to the Kennsington connector.
No issues with loop 1 except for leaf covered trail.
No issues with loop 2 except for leaf covered trail.
Beginning of loop 4 had a couple trees down right at the beginning.
Kennsington connector had some LARGE trees down. Will need a chain-saw, reroute, or BIG log pile ride there.
Hoof tracks were minimal.
Great views with the leafs gone.
The nice new signs / maps look good except for were the hunters took target practice.
