Small Game season starts!

No riding at Cannonsburg game area starting on Sept 15th. Legal to ride feb 1st. That's it over and out.

What's with the huge piles of dirt in the 4 mile road parking lot? Is the dnr going to smooth the lot and pave it?

Yeah and now there won't be a huge puddle after each rain in the parking lot

I suspect they are chip sealing nearby roads and this is a holding spot? there is similar one at 12 mile and White Pine Trail

The road commision is using the parking lot as a staging area.
The gravel is for repairs on Dursum.
Some kind of mix up had deliveries coming in on Monday with no one available from the road commision to haul it to Dursum.

They laid out some of that gravel onto the parking lot. It looks much better.

Nice ride today. Between my lap 1 and 2 a tree fell in the first section. On the straight before the turn that goes down to the "big" root jump:

It's too bad images got turned off on this fourm. I have some nice pics of the tree, and a bunch of riders moving it out of the way.

Did anyone find a pair of women's Nike shoes in the lot last week. They were blue size 6.5 or 7. If anyone did, please let me know. thanks

I found some Nike womans shoes yesterday (thursday).
I left them on the kiosk at the trail head thinking the owners would be back looking for them.
I'm leaving soon for the Big - M but as I live close to the trail i could swing by and grab them on my way out of town.
