I spent another 3 hours outat Maybury on Friday. You will note the first mud hole (before the first climb) has been worked on. I used broke the burm and mud out of the way of the drainage downslope...then placed as many rocks into the pit as I could find or scavange from the following hill.
Please do me a favor and ride throuhg the puddle NOT TO THE RIGHT OF IT. This will help until I can get out there to finish the job. Also note that the right hand side of the puddle has a rahter large mud hill that you would have to ride through...Yuk.
Secondly I have added some off shoots to the climb just following this mud pit turn. Please ride straight through the first one (not much of any other option actually) and please DO NOT TEAR IT DOWN. There is a small burm with a troff behind it. This will help allow the water to shed off to the side before it can
A.) Build up speed and worsen the erosion
B.) Drain the water off to the sides before it can reach the mud pit proper.
Still more to do out at Maybury if anyone wants to join in the fun
