Rode the connector on my way to Island Lake yesterday, there's a few puddles, but they had a solid bottom and I was able to slowly ride through the standing water without getting wet. Trail is good overall.

Thank you to whoever keeps this connector clear as it's a great way to get from Island Lake to Proud Lake!

There is a small tree down on the trail approx .2miles from the DQ entrance.

I rode this for the 1st time Saturday. It was really cool to go from Milford to Proud Lk. Trail is great. One thing I noticed being a 1st timer, was on the way back to Milford, I wasn't ready for the crossing at Old Plank Rd( I think it's Old Plank) and it comes up VERY quick. I had to lock em' up coming down the hill before the road crossing. What about a sign at the top of the hill before the road. Is that possible?
Otherwise the connector is awesome.

Still a few mucky spots - all in all a great ride. Appreciate the mowing on the west section.. Ride it and hit the DQ 8)

That is now down to four bad spots. Three of them east of South Hill Road and one just east of the Boy Scout bridge. Had to walk one of them. I would really like to see if any Boy Scout groups in Milford/ Commerce have any Eagle candidates that want to tackle another section of that trail.

The 3 traces to the north are the new trail. This is about 1/4 mile west of Old Plank Rd. as the crow flies. Very rough ride - fat bikes would do well..

Milford Rd. to South Hill - very damp / technically speaking, too wet.

South Hill to Old Plank - found big area of standing water near South Hill and turned around ...

Recommend using Buno Road instead of the Connector, probably for another week or two - this thing is always slow to dry after winter.

I rode the connector on Wednesday 5/17, and it is good to go. All of the mud holes have firmed up; get out and ride!

Went through the Connector today & notice a dozer went through the trail knocking a lot of small trees & brush down. Anyone know what's going on?

Probably just brush clearing. They (the Metropark) do the same for the horse trails periodically... That trail is extra wide in order to get vehicles back there and because it is a two-way trail. No tight blind corners there...
