Big tree down around mile 4.5. About half mile after the last road crossing.

The big tree is gonna need a big chainsaw. It's right before or after the 4.75 mile marker.

I was out on the trail this morning, and can confirm a large downed tree. It's just before the 4.75 mile marker and will definitely require a chain saw. Tree is at least 18-20" diameter.

How much rain did Northville get yesterday? It's always so spotty around here. Would love to hit the trail after work today, provided it isn't too muddy.

It rained in the morning pretty consistently and stopped around noon or so. I'm planning on checking out the trail today after work today as well. Not sure if it will be ridable, but fingers crossed!!

Rode yesterday! Trail was in pretty good condition. There were a handful of muddy spots at the bottom of the small hills that I hit to hit my brakes completely to avoid, but most every mud patch was easily avoidable through a different line on the singletrack. Beautiful trail! Beautiful day!

Hey ralphosphorous! Thanks for the trail update! Not sure if you know or not but if you are going to ride in muddy conditions (discouraged) it's almost always better for the trail to ride through the middle of a muddy area vs. riding or walking around it. Riding or walking around the mud over time widens the trail and you progressively turn a nice singletrack into a wide freeway area.

Thanks again for the update though! Oh by the way, how are the faceslappers now? They're getting bad at River Bends in the sunnier areas.

Yup can confirm maybury was absolutely grippy and rippy except for the handful of extreme puddles. Most can be bunny hopped, the rest will need a trail day but it should be better today for sure! Go send it

Trail was good with some wet spots. Tree down right after the winter turn around after the jump feature.
