Hmmm....not sure how these guys are able to send PMs? They get cleared out almost daily. I am swatting the spammers away like flies lately...I am banning entire IP addresses too.

There have been 3 different ID's that I know of that have spammed people through IM's. I do not know how they can do it; it may be a weakness of the forum system. I assure you they have all been banned.

I’ve gotten 3 or 4 strange PM’s with links to videos. Just been deleting them.

They are allowed because new members with zero posts are allowed to send PMs. We did this years ago so that new people signing up would be able to message about things in classifieds without waiting for approval.

Could change this to 1 approved post or so to stop this kind of spam...

Spamming via private messages now has gone to a new level. Bikini clad pictures plus linking to some dating site.
