Raid on MNRTF

Postby jajones » May 8th, 2017, 12:39 pm

Republican State Senator Darwin Booher has introduced legislation to raid the Michigan Natural Resources Trust Fund (MNRTF). The MNRTF is perhaps the most important land acquisition and improvement funding sources for Michigan's Park and Recreation Areas. So, while this fund is set up to make things like trail improvements and maintenance, Senator Booher wants to raid it to pay for "other things". If you are a Michigan Park and Rec Area or trail user, it is VERY important that you respond to this call to action. This Senator truly gets the "Darwin" Award for this not-so-bright idea.
