Riding near Los Angeles

Postby Highlander » January 11th, 2019, 9:11 am

I will be traveling to Los Angeles in March & want to schedule a mountain bike day trip. Looking for a guided type trip as I will be riding by myself & need to rent a bike. I'm going to start looking at some adventure mountain biking sites, but would like to get anyones previous experience good or bad.

If you don't get any advice. Trailforks or MTB project are great for finding local trails. I used them when I went to California (Sacramento area) thou.
Let's make 26ers great again!

When I was out there a few years ago. I rented and did the Saturday group ride from https://www.topangacreekoutpost.com/.

The riding is way different than the directional single track we have here. Mostly two track and fire roads.

Here is a link to my ride https://www.strava.com/activities/26479814#763692170
