SOLD!! 12-2-2019
I built this bike in 1998, it’s a Litespeed Titanium 17” frame, fits 5’7” to 5’9” guys perfectly. Bought all Shimano XTR components, it’s bulletproof.
Very lightweight, 23.5 lbs.
V-brakes sweet modulation for precise brake control.
Mavic Crossmax ceramic rims.
I had new chain, put that on, shifts crisp and quick. Rear deruriller is rapid rise style.
Great specialized 143 saddle with carbon seatpost.
I put a new Manitou front shock in 2010, new tires in 2012. This bike is in very good shape and will handle any trail, it’s Litespeed geometry is world known.
I hardly used this bike after 2014 due to my right hip replacement.
Yes, I paid $3.5k for this bike new, un-assembled.
Extra parts include rear derurailler upper and lower cogs, new brake and shifter cables, the current ones are fine. Replacement XTR ceramic brake pads, other stuff included as seen in picture.
Asking $350, I live in Hartland Michigan.Image

I undervalued it, listed on Facebook marketplace within 10 minutes 5 people wanted it, this morning 4 more.
Sale is pending.
Maybe it’s value $500-ish, oh well.
The bike served me well and has many miles in it still.

$3.5k in 1998 dollars ... worth every penny it never broke down on me countless rides in many states.
