Ha ha... Every trail probably needs a canoe to get down at this point.

There was still running water along the edges of the dirt roads around the Kensington Park area yesterday. There's a lot of washed out sections, I'm wondering if the trails were affected? I know this is where trail design comes into play but I'm curious if there is any damage needing a trail day? Seems the green stuff is growing like mad now too so I have to believe the face slappers will be out thickly on the local trails.

Loren posted a photo to FB earlier showing people kayaking on Blue. So... yeah.

Most of trails are good. Some Mud after wood bridge before Grand River climb and be careful of low hanging tree where Blue cut off to Yellow. Have to duck head.

Trail was great today. A few mushy spots but no big thing. Looks like someone cleared some downed trees. Thanks to whoever did that.

Trail was great today. Tree down across Blue at 1 1/2 mile mark. 6"-8" dia and about 1 foot off ground. Have to get off bike to get over. Other than that it was very perfect.

Tree down on Blue about 1/2 mile after 1st road crossing right after the downhill ending in a hard right turn.

I rode the Green loop today. Overall in great shape, but at about the 7.5-mile mark on Blue (I'm guessing - I noted the next marker I passed, and that seemed like a half-mile later), there is a tree that has come down across the trail overhead and hit another one. That second one is supporting the fallen tree, but it was broken in the process. I could see the splintered trunk as I rode through. Eventually, they're both going to come down, I would guess, so maybe these need to be cut. Definite chainsaw material, though.

Both trails and the weather were absolutely perfect today. It doesn't get better than this.

Any word on trail condition today?
Some areas of SE MI rained pretty hard a day or 2 ago, but it was scattered and sometimes brief. Im considering checking it out this afternoon, but dont want to mess up the trail or waste time.
