pontiac lake was fun. beginning half was grippy dirt from the rain, then the second half was mostly slick spots. this was around 4pm sunday id say. was drying up quick but i was muddy. No ruts just in the giant puddles maybe, easy to bhop tho.

Trail is fast and dry. Uncle Stihl was out after my ride adjusting the tree that had fallen just before the Cross Rd trailhead (where is crosses horse path).

Tree down on 1st hard loop on back half of trail. Just before the last climb on that section. Decent temp reroute seems to be ridden in. Likely need chainsaw.

Anyone been to P Lake today and know the conditions? It was pouring down in Royal Oak where I live, and I was gonna try and ride P Lake this afternoon.

PLRA was in great shape earlier today. It’s been a few weeks since I been there. I noticed the trail crews have been out making great changes and updates. New Burms in great spots and A very nice re-route. Thank you! I know it took a ton of work and efforts by many people. Is there another place listing what all has been done at PLRA in the last few weeks?

Like the previous post mentioned, they just added quite a few berms in some of the quicker sections (maybe 4-6 new ones) and a reroute towards the end.

Thank you to all the volunteers out on the trail yesterday! Your efforts are a great help in making our riding time enjoyable. I have noticed this year, greater than past years, that the erosion around the rocks and roots is getting pretty bad in many areas. Does the park / DNR have annual funding to patch and bring material in to fill the voids created by nature? No looking to dumb down the trail, but some of the exposure/erosion is just getting dangerous. Other than that, the trail was great, not as loose as it has been earlier this summer - should make for some fast race conditions on the 29th!

Trail was in pretty good shape. Dry and lose. Saw a couple e-bikes out there. I thought they were banned on State Rec Area trails?

They are not allowed. Anyone riding one should be politely informed they're breaking the law and will get a major fine if caught.

Rode here yesterday first time in a while. Nice job on improvements after the airfield especially the berm in front of that tree I'd almost hit every time!

All good yesterday, actually great. It was perfect out. There are two small tress down around 4 miles in but are easy to ride over or bunny hop. Surprisingly we didn't see any ebikes.....

Has anybody rode here recently? Also is that Thanksgiving ride happening this year? I've heard about a ride here every Thanksgiving morning for the past 20 years or whatever and would love to join.
