is that groomed ski trail or fat bike or both? I see the map indicates CC ski but not fat bike

The green line is groomed for fatbikes, snowshoers, trail runners, etc. ~11 miles out and back. The dashed line is for XC skiing. http://cadillacpathway.org/maxigen_gallery/winter-use-winter-sports-trail-all-new/

My wife is doing Lumberman this weekend and I was hoping to get a ride in.....Is any of this system open to MTB at this time of the year? I know the WST is for XC skiing, etc...but is the other section open for biking?

Edit.....I found info for the Cadillac Pathway on Trailforks.....Looks like a crap-ton of rain up there this week, though. Any idea how well that trail recovers after a deluge?

I'd suggest you do one of three things:

1) Go to the Udell Hills trailhead of the NCT (off of M-55, just west of the road to Big M) and ride south to the dirt road then back.
2) Wait about 30 minutes after the start of the race, then go ride the race route yourself. Just please try to let the racers do their thing. (The course isn't closed.)
3) Go to Marilla trailhead of the NCT and ride southwest to Dilling Road (where the No Bikes sign is) then turn around and head back.

(These three ideas are listed in order of difficulty.)

Anyone rode the HCP this year? Wondering what kind of shape it is in?

First ride since we moved to the TC area, rode Lake Anne. 4 trees down between markers 7-9. One you need to climb over.

No Lake Ann is in a different area than Lost Lake. Lost lake is about 6 miles long.
