Are there even trails here anymore? Does anyone ever ride them what kinda shape they in? Last time I went there the dnr had clear cut, got several sticks in derailer and three flat tires never went back! Just curious

Join us for a trail work day on Oct 4th as we reroute around an area with a very high water table that appeared this year. Approximately 1/2 mile of trail needs to be cleared and some sections bench cut. Meet at the headquarters which is located at the corner of 118th ave and 46th st. at 9:00 am. We will work until approximately 1:00 pm Tools and lunch provided. Plans are in the works to add singletrack trail in 2010!

the trails are rough this year. The DNR hasnt mowed the ski trail and the clear cuts have made matters worse. Now we have a high water table area to tackle as well. Things are looking up though. Plans are being discussed to add singletrack to the area using the ski trails as a means to connect sections together. I hope the folks wanting more trail in the Holland area take this opportunity to do just that, we need your help!

Rick.....I am definetly interested because I live about 10 minutes from ASGA. We are going to do our best to be there on Sunday for the trail day. A local trail would awesome....as long as it isnt just a dream.

I was really excited this year to have more opportunites to develop trail and ride here. I rode twice....with two flats....and called it a year. I was frustrated to not hear anything more this year. I will do my absolute best to be there for the trail day.

Can this thread be linked to Allegan SGA in the trail guide? It would be helpful for people trying to find information about the trail. Also, here is a link to the map of the game area.

The DNR has allowed yet another timber sale in the ASGA. The cutting and skidding activity has obliterated a section of the south (of 118th Ave.) loop of the trail. From what I am told, the cutting activity will be ongoing, and will encompass even more of the trail. If you want to ride in ASGA, I would advise using the route(s) north of 118th Ave. Talks with the DNR about buiding a new trail are stalled for right now.

I'm hoping to camp in the ASGA and was thinking of bringing my bike this weekend. Is it worth it to bring it and ride? How much trail is there?
